Rajasthan Election 2022: Amraiwadi Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 11 candidates in the fray from Amraiwadi constituency. Amraiwadi was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Patel Hasmukhbhai Somabhai ( H. S. PATEL ) comfortably winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Chauhan Arvindsinh Vishvanathsinh ( ARVIND CHAUHAN ) by a huge margin of 49,732 votes.

The top two candidates split 95.5% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Patel Hasmukhbhai Somabhai ( H. S. PATEL ) got a total of 1,05,694 votes, while Indian National Congress's Chauhan Arvindsinh Vishvanathsinh ( ARVIND CHAUHAN ) secured 55,962 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Rabari Bhikhabhai Mafabhai secured 4,197 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 62.4%, 33.1% and 2.5% respectively.
